PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension pipe for an electric vacuum cleaner having reasonable attitude maintaining ability even though it is capable of bending. SOLUTION: In a pipe body 2 of the extension pipe 1, a locking piece 12 formed in one end rim of a resin band like body 10 is inserted and engaged between a pair of holding pieces 11 and 11 formed on another end rim while spirally winding the band like body 10. It is composed so that it can be bent in accordance with a usage state by allowing moving of the locking piece 12 in a pipe axis direction in a state of the holding pieces 11 and 11 pressed against mutually facing inner wall faces, and so as to maintain a bent attitude while resisting a load of self-weight, wind force or the like.
