PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button which facilitates mounting work, does not require a high cost and makes a button body hardly removable from a rivet. SOLUTION: This button consists of the button body which is disposed on the front side of cloth and a rivet 4 which has an insertion portion 3 to be inserted into the button body through the cloth from the rear side. The button body is internally provided with a washer 5 made smaller in the inner diameter than the diameter of the insertion portion 3 and a pipe material 6, the washer is formed with a break at an inner peripheral edge 7 to permit the penetration of the insertion portion 3, and the pipe material 6 is adapted to be press fitted with the insertion portion 3 on its inner side.
