PURPOSE: An emergency exit device by using a light emission diode is provided to use semi-permanently by employing the high intensity light emission diode and to keep during a predetermined time period in a high temperature atmosphere generated during the fire accident by forming the cover plate with a thermal resistant material, thereby obtaining an effect to notice the position of the emergency exit by incorporating therein a strobe or an alarm generation part. CONSTITUTION: An emergency exit device by using a light emission diode includes a transparent cover plate(10) made of a thermal resistant material and inscribed therein a predetermined design and character, a body(20) connected the outer surface of the transparent cover plate(10) for forming an inner space, a light emission diode part connected by inserting into the body(20) for providing a light to the predetermined design and the character, a control block for driving the light emission diode and for controlling in a predetermined emission pattern and a pre-power block for supplying an emergency power to the control block during a power failure.
