ELECTRO-PNEUMATIC BRAKE SYSTEM FOR TRAINS

PURPOSE: An electro-pneumatic brake system for trains is provided to compensate operation stop of a locomotive brake control system with automatic control operation by an automatic brake control system. CONSTITUTION: An electro-pneumatic brake system for trains has a first operating mechanism(1) and a second operating mechanism(10). The first operating mechanism is attached to an automatic brake control system and is operated by an operator, to control and operate an automatic brake in normal operation. The second operating mechanism is attached to a locomotive brake control system and is operated by the operator, to control and operate a tractor brake and especially for braking of electric railway operation. The automatic brake control system is controlled by operation of the second operating mechanism when operation of the locomotive brake control system stops.
