SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING INTERNET AND NETWORK ACCESS OF UNAUTHORIZED USER USING DHCP AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A system for preventing Internet and network access of an unauthorized user using a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is provided to analyze hardware addresses included in a DHCP message transceived between a DHCP server and many DHCP client computers, and to prevent Internet and network access, thereby maintaining network security. CONSTITUTION: Many DHCP client computers(41-46) are connected to an Internet network(30). A DHCP server(60) supplies a parameter related to an IP address in order to have Internet-access to the DHCP client computers(41-46). A DHCP protecting server(70) analyzes hardware addresses included in a DHCP message transceived with the DHCP client computers(41-46), and decides whether packet data capable of Internet and network accessing has to be supplied to the DHCP client computers(41-46), then supplies a decided result to the DHCP server(60).
