PURPOSE: An HLR(Home Location Register) storing and transmitting method for a switch and an apparatus therefor are provided to smoothly resolve a charge payment problem between companies when converting a call originated from a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) subscriber to a mobile communication network subscriber by a far-end connection type. CONSTITUTION: The location of a mobile communication subscriber is requested. Charging data are transmitted to a CDGT(Charging Data Generation Trunk). The charging data are checked, the checked charging data are formatted as a charging format, and the charging data are gathered by a certain unit. The gathered charging data are transmitted to a CDR(Charging Data Record). A subscriber processing unit gathers the charging data, stores the gathered charging data in a disk, and transmits the charging data to a CDT(Charging Data Transfer).
