TILE MADE OF WASTE MOTHER-IN-PEARL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing mother-in-pearl tiles made of waste mother-in-pearl having inherent and elegant colors by combining mother-in-pearl sheets with common tiles. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a first step(S2) of grinding and preparing mother-in-pearl particles; a second step(S4) of screening and sizing the particles; a third step(S6) of laying a substrate paper on the base plate and spraying paint onto the paper; a fourth step(S8) of forming admixture of the particles and the paint followed by settlement thereof; a fifth step(S10) of drying the admixture to form a primary mother-in-pear sheet; a sixth step(S12) of adhering the primary sheet to baked tiles; a seventh step(S14) of coating surface of the tiles with finishing material; and an eighth step(S16) of drying the surface finishing material then baking the coated tiles.
