PURPOSE: A snow brake is provided to improve the safety by preventing slip of a vehicle with contacting the additional brake system directly to the road surface, and to stop the vehicle by actuating a hydraulic pump with operating a snow brake switch during traveling on the snowy road. CONSTITUTION: A brake switch(1) is operated with a driver to restrict slip of a vehicle during traveling on the snowy road. A hydraulic motor(2) is operated with supplying electricity to the motor. Pressure is applied to a cylinder through a hose in driving the motor, and a snow brake apparatus(4) is contacted directly to the ground with pushing a piston(3). The snow brake apparatus is modified according to the size of the vehicle, and folded with simple structure. Braking force is improved with adjusting the angle of the brake apparatus. Safety is improved with preventing slip of the vehicle by contacting the snow brake to the road surface during traveling on the snowy road.
