PURPOSE: A monitor and a method for adjusting a FOS(Front Of Screen) thereof are provided to easily adjust the front of screen of the monitor through an OSD in spite of changes in a synchronizing signal input from a PC. CONSTITUTION: A video output part(24) receives R,G,B video signals from a PC(10) for processing the R,G,B video signals in a displayable signal format. A display part(25) displays the processed R,G,B video signals. A micro computer(21) receives horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals output from the PC and one of the R,G,B video signals output from the video output part to grasp input frequency and definition. The micro computer displays an OSD screen according to input of an OSD menu key from a user. If adjusting data is input through the OSD screen to adjust an FOS of the display part, the micro computer stores the input adjusting data and outputs a control signal to display the FOS according to the stored adjusting data. |
