PURPOSE: A tundish heating apparatus for preventing heat loss is provided which is installed at a tundish cover to prevent heat loss of tundish and reduce temperature deviation in a length direction of tundish by heat exchange of combustion and exhaust gases, and reduce fuel. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus in which a plurality of burners are installed on a tundish(1) installed on the upper part of tundish so that the tundish is heated through the tundish cover(2), the tundish heating apparatus for preventing heat loss comprises regenerative burner parts (A-D) installed on the tundish cover to eject flame and combustion gas into the tundish; regenerators(5) selectively connected to the regenerative burner part; a plurality of switching valves (V1-V4) connected to the regenerators(5); and an exhaust fan(10) connected to the switching valves through a damper(9), wherein the regenerative burner part comprises a regenerative burner main body, an ignition burner installed on the upper part of the regenerative burner main body, a radiating plate connected along the lower circumference of the regenerative burner main body, a ceramic fiber refractory material constructed on the surface of the radiating plate, and springs a plurality of which are fixed between the central circumference of the regenerative burner main body and the radiating plate with spaced apart from each other in a distance of 90 degrees of an angle.
