PURPOSE: A watermark marking code and a method for encoding marking are provided to generate and extract watermark by applying peculiar ID(Identification) information and a DES(Data Encryption Standard) algorithm, thereby fundamentally preventing forgery and maximizing security of life. CONSTITUTION: Four sub-blocks of l x l are arranged in a regular shape and a position number is granted to each block. A part of watermark information inserted into a document is divided by 3 bits. Each divided information is converted into any two colors in three colors of R, G, and B. The converted colors by the information are assigned to two blocks.
