PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling discharge of the constant amount of slag are provided to constantly discharge slag by introducing a multistage discharge system for controlling slag in molten material produced in a blast furnace according to the discharge amount of the slag. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for controlling discharge of the constant amount of slag comprises a slag collection part(100) comprising a multistage slag collection tank(20) having a certain size that is installed at the lower part of a slag sprue(5) and formed in a rectangular shape, and level sensors(22A,22B,22c) installed on the upper part of the multistage slag collection tank(20); a multistage slag guide block part(200) for guiding slag from the slag collection part(100); a slag discharge part(300) comprising a slag discharger body part rested on the slag guide block part(200), slag dischargers installed in the slag discharger body part to discharge a certain quantity of slag, and rotational motors(80A,80B,80C) of the slag dischargers; a slag granulation part(400) for granulating the slag discharged from the slag discharge part(300); and a control part(500) for controlling the slag collection part(100), slag discharge part(300) and slag granulation part(400) by being connected thereto by an electric cable.
