摘要 |
PURPOSE: A matrix formulation for transdermally administering fentanyl that consists basically of an impermeable protecting layer, polymeric adhesive layer and release paper is provided which prolongs the duration while at the same time drastically accelerating the achievement of drug action by controlling permeation kinetics and thus exerts quick and excellent effects on controlling pain. CONSTITUTION: The matrix formulation for transdermal administration of fentanyl contains an impermeable protecting layer(a), a polymeric adhesive layer(b) having a thickness of 10 to 500μm and a release layer(c), wherein the polymeric adhesive layer is (i) a polymeric adhesive, (ii) a base or salt of fentanyl or fentanyl derivatives as a drug and (iii) a permeation controller and contains one or two or more mixed solvents selected from the group consisting of solvents having a melting point of 120deg.C or less.
