PURPOSE: Doors are opened horizontally in a hot water boiler to make cleaning easy, and heat is restored in multiple step to minimize waste heat. CONSTITUTION: A door type hot water boiler comprises a body(1), a heat exchanger(2), a burner(3), an exhaust fan(4), a preheating pipe(5), a preheating plate(6), and a connecting pipe(7). The body has doors opening horizontally. The heat exchanger is inserted to the body. The burner is installed inside of the door to heat the heat exchanger. The preheating pipe preheats air supplied to the burner with a remaining heat supplied from the burner to the heat exchanger. The preheating plate preheats air supplied to the burner secondarily with a remaining heat supplied to the heat exchanger and the preheating pipe. The connecting pipe introduces air heated by the preheating pipe and the preheating plate.
