PURPOSE: A water pollution-resistant and detergent saving device in the washing machine is provided to obtain an efficient and hygienic washing machine capable of reducing detergent, washing water, washing time and water pollution due to wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The water pollution-resistant and detergent saving device in the washing machine is characterized in that holes having diameter of 1 mm are perforated on a cube shaped case having 6 cm in all directions, mass having diameter of about 2 cm formed of a material for emitting far-infrared rays, solid mass having excellent sterilizing and deodorizing effects and mass for emitting a large amount of anions are contained inside the case in the same size and quantity, wherein rotation of the masses enables activation of detergent and washing water and magnetization of washing water, thereby reduces the consumption amount of detergent and prevents pollution of living wastewater by reducing the consumption amount of washing water.
