HOME AUTOMATION/INTELLIGENT NETWORK SYSTEM USING COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A home automation/intelligent network system using a communication network and a method therefor are provided to minimize the construction cost of the home automation system by separately composing a home automation server and a home management device. CONSTITUTION: A home automation system(230) receives operation state information of at least one electronic device(260) from at least one home management device(240) installed at each home. An identifier of the home management device(240) and the identifier of the electronic device(260) are included in operation state information. The home automation system(230) stores received operation state information as home-classified home data corresponding to each home management device(240). The home automation system(230) receives a home-classified home data providing request from a random communication device(210). The home automation system(230) retrieves home-classified home data corresponding to the communication device(210) using an identifier of the communication device(210). The home automation system(230) transmits the retrieved home-classified home data to the communication device(210).
