PURPOSE: An exhaust system of a vehicle is provided to reduce idle booming noise due to a low frequency band by using a stamp type muffler capable of reducing noise through varying the diameter, length and volume of an exhaust gas pipe. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust system includes an exhaust gas pipe connected to an exhaust manifold of an engine in order to allow exhaust gas to pass. A resonator and a muffler(2) are mounted on the exhaust gas pipe in order to reduce pressure and noise of the exhaust gas. The muffler(2) is provided at an inlet(2a) thereof with a guiding pipe(4), which is parallel to an outlet(2b) of the muffler(2). A slot group(5) including first to third slots(5a,5b,5c) are formed along an inner wall of the muffler(2). The muffler(2) is a stamp type muffler capable of reducing noise through varying a diameter, a length and a volume of an exhaust gas pipe.
