PURPOSE: A method of removing agricultural chemicals and remaining heavy metals contained in an extract and juice of natural drugs through a filtering apparatus, and fine starch particles contained therein by precipitating in a solvent and then removing the solvent with a reduced pressure distillation method. Therefore, the product permits long-term storage when vacuum packed by inhibition of growth of putrefactive bacteria and has enhanced clarity. CONSTITUTION: An extract and juice of natural drugs is passed through a ball filtering apparatus to remove suspended solids, agricultural chemicals and remaining heavy metals, added with 30 to 50%(v/v) of an organic solvent such as ethanol, normal hexane, ether, agitated for 1hr and then precipitated for 24hr. Thereafter, the supernatant is treated with a phenol-H2SO4 method to give a starch content of 0.1ppm or less and then distilled at 50 to 60deg.C under reduced pressure of 300 to 600mmHg.
