PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for correcting length of tie rod of coke oven is provided to correct length of the tie rod changed according to temperature by measuring temperature of the tie rod on the top part of the furnace per sections. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for correcting length of the tie rod of coke oven, the apparatus comprising a buck stay for supporting the furnace body at both ends of the furnace body comprising a plural combustion chambers, a tie rod(1) for penetrating the buck stay installed at both ends of the furnace body and springs(3) which are mounted on both end parts of the tie rod, the apparatus comprises a measuring part comprising a plural temperature sensors(53) that are connected to the tie rod to sense temperature of the tie rod, and a distance measuring instrument(54) that is installed at one side of the lower part of the springs to measure length of the springs; a data processing part(51) which is connected to the measuring part, and which converts and controls data received from the measuring part; a control part(52) which is connected to the data processing part and corrects operation values of the springs(3) and tie rod(1) using control signals received from the data processing part(51). |
