PURPOSE: A process for preparing vodka containing an extract of propolis is provided, thereby the vodka having various healthful effects of propolis can be prepared. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing vodka containing an extract of propolis comprises the steps of: mixing 40% of a mixture consisting of potatoes, corns and barley with 60% of water extracted propolis(WEP) and maturing the mixture at 60 to 65deg. C for 1 to 2 days; saccharifying the matured mixture with malt at 50 to 55deg. C for 4 to 5 hours; fermenting the saccharified mixture with a mixture of 30% of yeast and 70% of ethanol extracted propolis(EEP) at 55 to 60deg. C for 3 to 4 hours; centrifuging the fermented mixture at 7000rpm for 15 minutes; distilling the centrifuged mixture together with 60% of water extracted propolis(WEP), second distilling the distilled liquor together with 70% of ethanol extracted propolis(EEP), and third distilling the distilled liquor together with 40% of water extracted propolis(WEP); and cooling and filtering the distilled liquor with charcoal of poplar trees.
