PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to clearly and accurately represent information on patent family whose mutual relationship and association degrees of legal or technical aspect for filed patents are, even though, constituted with complicated and deep layers. SOLUTION: A method comprises an associated information register step s201 that registers associated and classified information by retrieving and relating them with each patent and also a request receiving step s204 that receives attribute data for the filed patent being requested to offer a patent family data and, at the same time, specifies the designated filed patent in a database based on the attribute data. The method is also comprised of an associated information recognition step s205 that recognizes a degree of the mutual relationship between the designated filed patent and the patents being related with it by referring to the database for the associated and classified information, and a patent family data transmitting step s208 that transmits a screen data for the patent family, which is constituted with a tree configuration generated by applying a patent filing display, which symbolizes each filed patent by appropriately displaying the attribute data for the designated patent and each filed patent, and a relation line that connects the patent filing displays themselves with a line color and a line type, which correspond to the classification for the association types, to the relationships of the related patents among themselves and the relationship between each related filed patent and the designated filed patent. |
