PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically add an effect to a musical sound signal in accordance with rendition of a musical instrument. SOLUTION: An oscillator 20 generates and outputs a sine wave signal having a frequency corresponding to the level of an amplitude envelope signal generated by an envelope detector 10, and a multiplier 30 multiplies a musical sound signal of original sounds by the generated sine wave signal to perform modulation, and therefore, modulated sounds corresponding to the amplitude level of the musical sound signal are outputted. Consequently, music is played with the musical sound signal level controlled to automatically add an effect, and amusing effect addition is realized by giving stresses to performance. |
