PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input apparatus into which a three-dimensional image as well as a two-dimensional image can be easily inputted. SOLUTION: The image input apparatus is configured such that a projector unit 3 projects a predetermined projection light pattern onto an image object 10, and an image pickup unit 2 picks up the projection image containing distortions of the projection light pattern, the relative position between the projector unit 3 and the image pickup unit is fixed, and a mover unit 4 moves the image pickup unit 2 relatively with the projector unit, so that the image pickup unit can pick up a plurality of projection images at different image pickup locations. |
