PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric waveguide type filter employing a simple structure requiring no special member for coupling a dielectric waveguide type resonator and an external circuit, and a coupling circuit structure where leakage of electromagnetic wave to the outside is suppressed, and its characteristics adjusting method. SOLUTION: A dielectric waveguide type resonator is constituted by forming a conductor film 2 on the outer surface of a dielectric block 1, a terminal electrode 3 insulated from the conductor film 2 is formed on the outer surface of the dielectric block 1, a hole 5 having a coupling electrode 4 on the inner surface is formed in the dielectric block 1, and one end thereof is connected with the terminal electrode 3 while the other end thereof is connected with the conductor film 2.
