PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting element having very high efficiency and light output with high luminance and long service life. SOLUTION: In this organic light emitting element having a pair of electrodes composed of an anode and a cathode and at least a layer between a pair of electrodes and containing one or a plurality of organic compounds, at least one layer of the layer containing the organic compounds contains at least one kind of the compound expressed by the general formula (I).
