PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay without fear of contact failure and without fluctuation in operating characteristics. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay has an electromagnet block 30 built in a base 10 with a fixed-contact terminal 22 cut out of a lead frame insert molded. Especially, position-regulating tongue pieces 23a, 24a regulating positions of a movable iron piece 60 and a movable contact piece 70, respectively, operating based on excitation and degaussing of the electromagnet block 30, are cut out of the lead frame, and insert molded into the base 10.
