PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily use a remote object by automatically linking ORB products even when an ORB on the client's side is different from an ORB on the server's side. SOLUTION: In a method to be carried out by a middleware provided between a client and server, a remote reference obtaining relay object and a class of a remote method calling relay object are provided and the method is constituted so that the remote reference obtaining relay object sends an obtaining request for a remote reference on the object in the server to the server when the object receives the request from the client, receives the remote reference of the object in the server from the server and starts a remote method calling relay object corresponding to the object in the server.
