Editing and printing of literary works produced using word processing software submitted online to an editor, whereby the setting is automated by use of an attached style sheet submitted by the author or authors

Method has the following steps: step (20) prior to an application in which the author attaches a style sheet to a literary work (1); transmission (30) of the literary work via a network, especially the internet, to an editor; and conversion (70) of the literary work using the editor's computer (3) into XML format before its recording. A final step can involve setting of the document using the style sheet. The invention also relates to: a corresponding method for printing of the literary work using paper of a given weight and calculation of dimensions relating to binding and covering; and a cover printed in series with the literary work with dimensions calculated using the inventive method.
