PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus having maximized channel capacity and a method therefore. SOLUTION: This radio communication apparatus is provided with a transmitting part 10 for allocating transmission power of each of base-band signals of each of transmitting antennas 48 and 72 containing an information signal from outside, using feedback information recovered from a feedback signal in a feedback information recovering part 42, modulating the base-band signals with the allocated transmission power, and converting the base-band signals modulated into radio frequency (RF) signals and transmitting the RF signals; and a receiving part 20 for receiving the RF signals transmitted from the transmitting part 10 with receiving antennas 40 and 60, estimating a channel response experienced during the transmission of the RF signals received in this way in a channel estimating part 64, recovering the information signal from the RF signals using the estimated channel response, calculating information regarding the transmission power based on the estimated channel response, and transmitting the information regarding the transmission power allocated in the above manner as the feedback signal to the transmitting part 10 by radio. |
