<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector capable of enhancing the easiness in its termination processing, allowing common use of component parts for different connector models, and applicable even to a shielded electric wire having any shield conductor consisting of drain wire or braid. SOLUTION: The shield connector is configured so that a signal wire of the shielded electric wire is held by a retaining member installed on an external conductor terminal whereto the shield conductor is connected so that it serves as a connection terminating part of the shielded electric wire, and a dielectric substance housing accommodating and holding an internal conductor terminal is mounted on an external conductor shell, and a signal wire pressure contacting part of the internal conductor terminal is exposed at an opening in the external conductor terminal, and in this condition, the connection terminating part is inserted from above an opening in the external conductor shell so that the signal wire is put in pressure contacting connection by the signal wire pressure contacting part, and the opening is blocked with the external conductor terminal, while the external conductor terminal is put in contact with the external conductor shell and retained in the electrically continuing condition.</p> |
