PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient web site linking method and a system therefore in linking a device having only simple digit keys with a web site. SOLUTION: This system is previously provided with a database 11 including IP address data and digit type web address data including numerical values formed of a series of left to right digits indicating upper level and lower level classes of the web site of an IP address corresponding to the IP address data. A receiving module 5 receives an address inputted by a user, and a retrieving module 7 retrieves it from the database 11. When a corresponding address is not found by the retrieving, the system informs the user of it and requests retyping and when a similar address is found, the system provides it to the selection of the user and requests selection, and also when the corresponding address data is found, the system takes out the IP address and links a computer device of the user with the web site 300.
