SOLUTION: This numerical control device 100 for interpolating several connectable control shafts 170 is provided with a control shaft information memory means 150 for storing the control shaft information related to the control shafts and an interpolation control cycle setting means for setting an interpolation control cycle as an interval of the interpolation in response to the control shaft on the basis of the control shaft information read from the control shaft information memory means. With the structure that the interpolation control cycle is set in response to the control shaft, interpolation more than a requested performance can be cut, and a capacity to spare of a CPU generated as a result can be effectively used for other processing.
