PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cathode-ray tube device which can form a high-definition thin film on the outer surface of a face part of the cathode-ray tube without cost hike, on top of doing away with dry air and an outgassing part. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the cathode-ray tube is provided with a process of applying in spraying a thin-film forming liquid on the outer surface of face part of the cathode-ray tube device 1 while the cathode-ray tube device 1 is rotated with a tube shaft as a center axis 118, equalizing the thin-film forming liquid applied on the outer surface of the face part, and forming the thin film by drying the equalized applied film. The applied film is dried by making centrifugal force of the outer surface of the face part of the cathode-ray tube device generated by rotation after spraying of the thin-film forming liquid almost same as or lower than frictional force the outer surface of the face part and the thin-film forming liquid, without the use of dry air.
