PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk carrying device which makes it possible to provide an operation part operated to start moving a disk tray between a drawn-out position and a storage position to the disk tray and provides an electric detection switch detecting the operation part being operated fixed to a main-body side housing. SOLUTION: A slider 6 is provided in a slidable state to the disk tray 3 and has the operation part 61 which can be operated from the front side of the disk tray 3 on one end side and slides as the operation part 61 is operated. The detection switch 8 is provided fixedly inside the housing 22 and turned on or off through the sliding of the slider 6. A tray driving mechanism 4 provided to the housing 22 drives the disk tray 3 according to the on or off operation of the detection switch 8 so that the disk tray 3 moves between the drawn- out position and storage position.
