PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconducting member having high durability for electrophotographic device in which the conductivity can be controlled to 10<8> to 10<12> Ω while the characteristics of tension and permanent elongation as the physical properties required for a belt can be maintained as they are. SOLUTION: The semiconducting member for electrophotographic device is made of a thermosetting polyurethane. The polyol as the source material of the thermosetting polyurethane comprises polytetramethylene glycol and a polyol having ethylene oxide units. The number average molecular weight of the polyol having ethylene oxide units ranges from 300 to 1,500. The weight ratio of the polytetramethylene glycol to the polyol having ethyleneoxide units ranges from 95:5 to 50:50. |
