PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector capable of preventing a sealing member from being damaged by a disengaging tool. SOLUTION: The waterproof connector is composed of a housing 14 accommodating a plurality of connecting terminals 13 to whose rear electric wires 11 and the sealing member 12 are attached by pressure and generating engagement by an engaging arm 26, the sealing member 15 to be fitted in the inner cylindrical part of the housing 14 and make waterproofing of the fitting part with another housing as the mating party, and a front holder 16 to be engaged with the front of the housing 14 in a provisionally engaged condition and the regularly engaged condition. The tail face of the cylindrical part 31 of the front holder 16 is arranged capable of being attached by pressure to the front end face of the sealing member 15. The cylindrical part 31 is provided in its inside with a hold-down part 36 circumscribing with the engaging arm 26 in the regularly engaged condition, and is furnished in the upper wall and lower wall with insert holes 37 which admit insertion of the forefront Ta of the disengaging tool T to between the arm 26 and connecting terminal 13 in the provisionally engaged condition, and an insert preventive wall 38 to prevent the disengaging tool from advancing approximately in the horizontal direction is installed on the intrusion side of the holes 37 so as to prevent the sealing member 15 from being damaged.
