<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple technique for enhancing an encoding efficiency without losing image quality of an object. SOLUTION: The image encoder for encoding an image of one frame in the unit of objects includes an image input means that inputs image data by each block in the unit of encoding processing, a shape information input means that receives shape information to identify whether or not the information is contained in the inside of the object corresponding to image data, a shape information invalidating means that discriminates whether or not a block to be invalidated depending on the shape information in the shape information block entered by the shape information input means, a first coding means that encodes the shape information block processed by the shape information invalidating means, and a second coding means that encodes an image block entered by the image input means depending on an output of the shape information invalidating means.</p> |
