PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and low cost winding apparatus for a wound core which can tighten the wound core against a leg of a winding by simple work. SOLUTION: This winding apparatus has an inside roller 11 which is driven to rotate along an inside circumference of a wound core 1 to feed an electromagnetic steel plate into a large circle 6 and an outside roller 31 which is pressed against the outside circumference of the wound core 1 and inversely turned. By transferring a support mechanism 47 of a winding 5 along a guide mechanism comprising a slider 41 and a guide rail 43, the outer circumference of the wound core 1 is pressed against the inside roller 11 rotating in a direction opposite to the direction of the core winding to tighten the wound core against a leg 5a of the winding 5.
