PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power semiconductor switching apparatus employing a gate commutation type semiconductor switching device which can simultaneously and easily conduct connection and separation between a plurality of terminals. SOLUTION: A gate terminal (14) and/or a cathode terminal (15) of a semiconductor switching device (10) which is housed in a cylindrical housing are divided into a plurality of terminals which are arranged so as to protrude from the outer circumference of the housing, while a plurality of electrode terminal clamping parts are arranged at the same intervals on a substrate of a gate driver. The substrate can be turned with the housing as the center of turn, and terminal clamping parts (16) of the gate driver connect the respective electrode terminals disconnectably with each other by fitting.
