PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool that does not have rectification failure by providing between the housing and the brush holder a protrusion that elastically deforms during press fitting, so that the brush holder is reliably held by the housing regardless of the ambient temperature. SOLUTION: The power tool has engagement sections 1a, 2a to hold, in a housing 1, a brush holder 2 that is press fitted into the resin housing 1. A protrusion that elastically deforms during press fitting 1b is provided between the housing 1 and the brush holder 2, and a space 3 is also provided to promote the deformation of the protrusion 1b.
