PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the performance by revising a magnification in a processing stage of print data without reading an original again and providing a printout, when it is required to revise the magnification of the same original, and provide a printout after a paper designation magnification is once set and the operation is started. SOLUTION: When a copy mode indicates a magnification designated for paper, revision of a paper feed tray is checked by each print, when the tray is revised due to shortage of paper, an optimum copy magnification due to the paper size selected by revision is again decided (S56), and the copy condition is set again. In second setting, when the decided optimum magnification exceeds a magnification range outputted by a copying machine and a print state of causing missing or space in a printed image takes place, a warning indication is conducted (S58). The decided optimum magnification is limited to an output enabled magnification range (S59), the magnification is set again and printing is made onto transfer paper newly selected.
