PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device that can simply and correctly register its own internal data directly to other communication device and can simply and correctly register internal data of the other communication device directly as its own internal data. SOLUTION: This communication system is configured such that a facsimile machine 10 and other facsimile machine 11 are interconnected via a public phone network 12, when the facsimile machine 10 accesses the other facsimile machine 11 to transmit its own internal data to the other facsimile machine 11, the other facsimile machine 11 receives the internal data and registers the internal data as internal data of the other facsimile machine 11.
