PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with which an image of high quality can be stably obtained by preventing scattering of toner from a developing range onto an unifixed image or dropping of a clot of toner. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus provided with an image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and a developing device developing the electrostatic latent image and forming the image on transfer material, a partitioning member is installed between the developing range and a range where the unifixed image exists. In this case, the partitioning member is constructed in a shape inclined in a direction where accumulated scattered or leaking toner does not drop onto the range in which the unfixed image exists. |
