PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize detection work of a worn sprocket by retrieving a template image for evaluation optimum for detecting the worn sprocket in a short time. SOLUTION: Among deformation parameters of the template image for the evaluation for which matching work is performed with a photographed image of the worn sprocket, the ones of a high evaluation result are left (S200), the ones of a standard evaluation result or lower are deleted (S210), the ones of the next higher evaluation result are randomly extracted, they are partially rearranged and the deformation parameters are newly prepared (S230). Then, the deformation parameters are newly and randomly prepared (S240). The deformation parameters prepared in such a manner are turned to the deformation parameters for next retrieval (S260). The processing is repeated and the optimum template image for the evaluation is retrieved. |
