PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a recording type recording carrier with an only reproduction type recording carrier and to provide an application to a user in various forms. SOLUTION: A data recording medium has a first recording carrier 2 of only reproduction type having light transmissivity and a second recording carrier 3 of recording type provided with a recording layer by which data can be recorded by light beam irradiation and the second recording carrier 3 is joined with the surface opposite to the surface of the first recording carrier 2 in which the light beam is made incident.
