PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a customer to automatically get access to a correspondent financial institution, to establish an intermediary connection, to conduct customer's authentication, and further to provide optimal information or benefit, without using a keyboard or a mouse and only by reading a provided bar code. SOLUTION: When the customer gets access for financial transactions through a communication network, specific information, to the customer, is provided/acquired. A customer communication terminal 3 transmits bar code information acquired by reading a bar code storing information indicating the financial institution to be connected and address information given to the terminal that have been previously provided. An intermediary communication device 4 sends information indicating the financial institution extracted by receiving the bar code information and the address information from the customer communication terminal 3 to a financial institution, and transfers the address information. A financial institution communication system 6 establishes line connections with the customer communication terminal 3 for the address information from the intermediary communication device 4, and executes banking transaction designated by the bar code. |
