PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing panel which prevents the infiltration of rainwater with a simple and durable structure and improves the sound absorbing performance and durability of an acoustic material. SOLUTION: The sound absorbing panel comprises the acoustic material 1, a nonwoven fabric 2, a perforated plate 3 enclosing these, etc., is integrated by a frame member 4 and is usually attached to a wall surface or is built into the wall surface, by which a soundproof wall, etc., are formed. The perforated plate 3 is formed to a size below nearly 3 mm and is provided with a multiplicity of holes 31 of, for example, diameter d=3 mm. Accordingly, the rainwater falling onto the surface of the perforated plate flows downward in the state of closing the surfaces of the holes and does not infiltrate to the acoustic material side from the inside of the holes. Consequently, the deterioration of the acoustic material by the repetition of freezing and thawing of the infiltrating rainwater in districts of extremely cold weather, etc., can be prevented. Also, the perforated plate is made of ordinary metal and has durability.
