PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can efficiently and easily adjust the focus of a light emitter array. SOLUTION: The image forming device employing a light emitter array (LED array) 227 for applying exposure to a photoreceptor is provided with a read means 120 that reads a prescribed print pattern formed on a recording medium and with an FFT processing section 140 that applies FFT processing to data read by the read means 120 in the main scanning direction so as to calculate a power of a frequency of a selefoc lens pitch of the light emitter array 227.
