PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to hold a conference with many participants by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A computer 1 and display devices 23-1, 23-2, and 23-3 are connected in series by not only video cables 11a, 11-1, and 11-2 but also USB cables 12a, 12-2 and 12-3. A switching box 24 installed in the vicinity of each display device 23 is provided with a USB input port 26b to which a keyboard having a mouse 9 attached is connected, a switch 24s for switching between validation and invalidation of the input of the USB input port 26b, and a speech permission lamp 25 which is lit at the time of validation. Consequently, the system constitution is simplified and the system construction cost is reduced.
