PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer switching unit allowing exchanging data between respective computers. SOLUTION: This computer switching unit 30 selectively switches to a predetermined terminal of plural terminals connected with computer bodies 10, 20. When an MPU/interface control circuit 31 receives a data transfer request command for requesting transfer of data stored in a PC2 from driver software installed in a PC1 for controlling the PC switching unit 30, it reads out the corresponding data file from a hard disc 24 of the PC2, transfers the read data file to the PC1 and stores the data file in a hard disc of the PC1. Thereby, data can be exchanged between the computer bodies 10, 20.
